Dr. rer. med. Alexander Hoffmann, MBA
Dr. Hoffmann was born in Sögel in Emsland, where he graduated from Hümmling-Gymnasium.
After studying human medicine at the universities of Jena and Erfurt with study visits to Broken Hil / Australia (DAAD scholarship holder) and Calcutta, he completed his specialist training at Marienhospital Osnabrück (surgery), Gesundheit Nordhessen Holding in Kassel-Hofgeismar (internal medicine) and in Warburg at St. Petri Hospital.
After passing his specialist examination in general medicine in 2004, he initially worked in a joint practice with Dr. Volker Unruh in Warburg, followed by a two-year stay in a large MVZ in Erfurt/Thuringia.
Subsequently established a joint practice with Dr. Elmar Arens in Warburg-Scherfede, since 2023 in individual practice with Mr. Jan-David Kubenke with the following qualifications:
- General medicine with additional qualification in sports and rescue medicine
- Yellow fever vaccination center of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia
- Teaching practice in the Department of General Medicine at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen
- Additional designation and qualification in the field of abdominal and retroperitoneal ultrasound and thyroid ultrasound.
Dr. Hoffmann holds a doctorate in sports medicine from the University of Paderborn and an MBA from the FHDW. He speaks fluent English and passable French. He is married and the father of four children.
Jan-David Kubenke
Born in Lich, Hesse, and grew up in Warburg, where he graduated from Hüffertgymnasium in 2005.
Subsequently trained as a paramedic at the Red Cross in Kassel and completed training as a healthcare and nursing assistant at Münster University Hospital.
From 2010 to 2016, studied human medicine at the University of Pecs (Hungary) and the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg, completing an internship year at the Brüderkrankenhaus Paderborn.
Clinical part of the specialist training in general medicine at Helios Klinikum Warburg from 2017-2019.
Subsequently 4 months training assistant in the joint practice Dres. Emde, Nolte and Nolte in Bad Arolsen.
From 2020 to 2022, outpatient part of the specialist training in the Dres. Gräbe / Gehrmann joint practice in Diemelstadt-Rhoden.
After successfully completing the specialist examination for general medicine in 2022, currently employed as a specialist in the practice for general medicine Dr. Alexander Hoffmann in Warburg-Scherfede.


Jan-David Kubenke
Born in Lich, Hesse, and grew up in Warburg, where he graduated from Hüffertgymnasium in 2005.

Dr. Carolin Brecht
Dr. Brecht was born in Warburg and attended the local Marianum high school until she graduated from high school.
From 2006 to 2008 she studied human medicine, initially at the Semmelweis University in Budapest (Hungary), then from 2008 the clinical part of the course at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg until she passed the 2nd state examination in 2012.
From 2011 Dr. Brecht was an employee and doctoral student in the radiology research group at the German Cancer Research Center (dkfz) in Heidelberg, and in 2017 she received her doctorate in medicine from the Medical Faculty of the University of Heidelberg.
From 2013 she completed specialist training at the Raphaelsklinik Münster (Medical Clinic I) until she passed the specialist examination in internal medicine in 2019. She then began her 2nd specialist training in the practice of Dr. C. Berg in Münster-Roxel and in the practice of Dr. A. Hoffmann in Warburg-Scherfede and completed the specialist examination in general medicine in September 2024.
Since October 2024, Dr. Brecht has been employed as a specialist in internal medicine and general medicine in the practice of Dr. A. Hoffmann.
